- Does a colourful room hurt focus?
- Placement matters more than saturation. Colour in your peripheral vision while you face a screen is largely ignored; colour directly behind the monitor competes with it. Keep the wall your monitor sits against the quietest surface in the room.
- What lighting suits displayed artwork and print?
- Look for a high colour rendering index — 90 or above. Cheaper LEDs render reds and yellows poorly, which is exactly the part of the spectrum comic art and film posters live in, so the work looks flat and grey under them.
