Field Office
Packs into a bag, works anywhere, still ergonomic.
Field Office solves the problem that most ergonomic advice assumes a fixed room. This is the setup for hot-deskers, travellers and anyone whose office is sometimes a kitchen table: a folding laptop stand, a compact keyboard, and a way to get the screen to eye level in under a minute.

Questions people ask
- Can a laptop ever be ergonomic on its own?
- No. The screen and keyboard are fixed together, so either the screen is too low or the keyboard is too high — you cannot fix both at once. A stand plus a separate keyboard is the minimum viable portable setup, and it is the single highest-value change for anyone working off a laptop full time.
- What matters most when working from unfamiliar spaces?
- Screen height and noise, in that order. A folding stand solves the first anywhere. The second is usually a headphone problem rather than a room problem, since you rarely control the room you are sitting in.
